 Every day . . and wherever I go - just being myself and engaging people in a conversation. Whether it's a colleague at work or that clerk behind the counter at the grocery store or the lady in front of me waiting in line. Everyone has a story to tell and they all want to share it. Simple thing to listen . . . Thanks for sharing.

 I couldn’t agree more.

How people look at and treat others can be all-telling. If a date treats the server at a restaurant like the hired help, no thank you. No matter how “hot” they may be, I just wouldn’t be interested in spending (investing) any more of my limited time with them.

While common courtesy or decency doesn’t seem to be like it once was, no reason to lower your own personal standards during the race to the bottom. You can still be direct, assertive, confident and a leader without being an ass.
