 I am in the Medicare for all camp. Back in 1965 US doctors largely opposed Medicare, but now prefer it to the other more difficult insurance coverage schemes.

Medicare is not free. I have medicare and combined with my wifes insurance I get bills that are very small. Medicare only covers so much and you are responsible for the rest.
