Maybe you just need it posted in all the other group postings?? Alot dont belong to the Regina area one. Its still 2 months ahead..... maybe try again?  ~ | ||

Hey cowboy....I agree with luvpen. Not everyone pops in here to find out what is happening. Advertising (almost constantly) in the chat room will help move things along as will posting this in other group message boards.
I noticed that there were a lot of views since you first posted in March. However, this is the first I saw this posting. If there are no reply posts, then the initial post tends to slowly make its way down the list giving way for more recent ones...so when that happens, just put a little blurb in to move it back up. A dance in Regina would be great....please don't give up. | ||

Welcome to the joys of planning events!!! If you want to put something together, then you have to just set your mind to doing it and do it. If you wait around for people to jump up and show interest, or... even less likely... offer assistance, you may as well not start.
Basically how it goes is that you do the planning, you pick the date, you set up the place, and then you announce it and people ask you to contact them so that they can come. ha ha ha Okay, seriously though, without an actual date and set format, nobody is going to be able to determine whether they are interested or able to attend. Believe me, there are plenty of people in Regina and willing to drive here from other parts of the province for events; they always get a good turnout.
Keep in mind also, if you're thinking of the end of June, I think that's when people are talking about doing the party boat weekend thing. | ||

Cowboy I just peeked at the moose jaw posts, an Girlnuts has posted it for the 28th of June as the most likely date for the boating party. So if you wanna plan a dance set a date Like Twohott said people wont commit till they know an actual date to make definate plans. And if you need people to sell tickets im sure if an actual date was set people would volunteer. And post it in the other groups. If you dont belong to the others just ask and im sure one/some of us can help you. Would love to see a dance in regina.. Cant dance worth shit but hell lol... its all good | ||

cowboy; it takes lots of advertising...lots of persistence and lots of patience. but when it all comes together...it's well worth the effort. definitely post a date and we will certainly try to attend. | ||

thanx guys for the input,and i did get a lot of e mails too about this,and now i understand more a little about how people are on here and what they want and like and june 14th was the day,i cant get hall now booked for a weddings and other functions now for the next few mnths,so i will see how thins go in the next little while and maybe look at this again down the road for oct/nov? see what happens!i had talked to lots of nice people,so i would like to give back a great time and eat,drink,dance and have good time....and hope lots of you will cum,i mean come lol,so again i apologize for jumping the gun,just thought people wearn't interested,so i know for next time,so have fun all catch you later cowboy...happym; | ||
